Drive through the sugar-cane fields of Rivière Salée
Visit the small inland villages on your way to the heights of « Morne Pitault », where you can enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of both sides of the island: the Caribbean coast and the Atlantic coast. The morning continues with a visit to the banana plantations at Vert Pré.
Distillery visit with a tasting of different rums
Travel along country roads, through fords and forest trails, deep into the tropical rainforest, where you will discover its flowers, tree ferns, heliconias and giant bamboo. Lunch is served by a local resident, offering a taste of “local flavours"
Swimming stop at Saut du Gendarme waterfall for the most refreshing moment of the day. We’ll point out the day’s must-see sights and leave it to our driver-guide to surprise you.
Return around 5:00 p.m.
